MIKUMI A
Mikumi National Park Safari (2 Days/1 Night)
Mikumi National Park is just 5 hours west of Dar es Salaam and situated between the Uluguru Mountains, Rubeho Mountains, and Lumango Mountains. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth largest national park and home to many of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife.

This safari departs from Dar, so you need to travel to Dar the day before.
Transportation to the bus station, the bus tickets and accommodation are not included in the cost,
Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Mikumi (B/-/D)
After having breakfast at your accommodation, the car departs about 8 – 9 a.m. to make the 5-hour journey to Mikumi National Park.
There will be opportunities to stop along the way for lunch and snacks, but they are not included in the cost.
Depending on traffic, the car usually gets to Mikumi in time for a half-day game ride.
The car will arrive at Mikumi Hostel outside Mikumi National Park in time for dinner and 1-night accommodation. *Pay for your own drinks
Upgrade to Luxury Lodge inside the Mikumi National Park for $100 USD per person.
Day 2: Mikumi / Dar es Salaam (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the camp, the car departs for the game ride.
The route within the park varies during the dry and wet seasons. A boxed lunch included.
The gate fees allow for 24 hours in the park, so the game ride will last until the time the car entered the park the day before.
The car will drop off at your accommodation around 7 pm

MIKUMI B / Rainforest Trek

Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Mikumi (B/-/D)

After breakfast at the hostel/lodge, you depart for a day of trekking inside the Udzungwa Rain Forest with stops at waterfalls and watering holes.
The car will depart Udzungwa and arrive in time for dinner at your accommodation around 7 pm.

Selous A
Selous Game Reserve Safari (3 Days/2 Nights)
As the largest game reserve in the world, yet scarce with tourists, Selous Game Reserve is home to many animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. The thick bush inhabits many primates including the white colobus monkeys and bush babies.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Selous (B/-/D)
After having breakfast at your accommodation, the car departs about 8am to make the approximately 6-hour journey to Selous.
There will be opportunities to stop along the way for lunch

Accommodation will be at Selous River Camp, a luxury tented camp, along the Rufiji River bank for a nice dinner and 2-night accommodation.
Day 2: Selous (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the camp, the car departs for a full day game ride in Selous around the lakes and hot volcanic springs that will include a boxed lunch.
The car will return in time for dinner at Selous River Camp. *Pay for own drinks (soda & Beer)
Day 3: Selous / Dar es Salaam (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the camp, the car departs for a full day game ride in Selous that will include a boxed lunch.
The car will stop in Kipiti town on the way home for you to stop and eat dinner. Pay for own dinner and drinks.

Ruaha
Ruaha National Park (5 Days/4 Nights)
Ruaha National Park, situated around the Great Ruaha River, is one of the most beautiful national parks in Tanzania. The animals are completely wild and the scenery is unforgettable. The journey from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha is also very scenic as you travel through Morogoro, Mikumi National Park, and the mountainous regions of Southern Tanzania. The Ruaha River Lodge is very exclusive and has beautiful views.

This safari departs from Dar, so you need to travel to Dar the day before.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Iringa (B/-/-)
After having breakfast at your accommodation, the car departs around 8 a.m. to make about 8-hour journey to Iringa (520 km so all depends on the traffic).
There will be opportunities to stop before leaving Dar and along the way for lunch and snacks, but they are not included in the cost. Lunch stop is in Mikumi Town.
The car will arrive in Iringa in time for dinner and 1 night accommodation at the Isimilia Safari Hotel. Pay for your own dinner and drinks.
Day 2: Iringa / Ruaha (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, the car departs for the final 120 km from Iringa to Ruaha
National Park and will pass through the Hehe tribal villages.
We will arrive to the park gate around noon, depending how many stops are made to see animals along the way. Once inside the park, the car will proceed slowly for animal sightings before arriving at Ruaha River Lodge for lunch.
After an afternoon game drive, the car will return to the lodge in time for dinner.
Day 3: Ruaha (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the lodge, the car departs for a full day game ride that will include a boxed lunch.
Some groups choose to return to the lodge around 3 p.m. for a shower and short rest before the late afternoon game drive.
The car will return in time for dinner at the lodge.
Day 4: Iringa / Ruaha (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the lodge, the car departs for a morning game ride that will include a boxed lunch.
The gate fees allow for 48 hours in the park, so the game ride will last until the time the car entered the park on day 2.
The car will arrive in Iringa in time for dinner and 1-night accommodation at the Isimilia Safari Hotel. Pay for your own dinner and drinks.
Day 5: Iringa / Dar es Salaam (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, the car departs to return to your Dar es Salaam accommodation.
There will be opportunities to stop along the way for lunch and snacks, but they are not included in the cost. Lunch stop is in Mikumi Town.
The car will arrive at your accommodation around 7 pm.

Safari Highlights:
A chance to stay at the most luxurious lodge along the Ruaha River with hippos, crocodiles, and other animals visible from your balcony.
You will see an abundant number of animals, missing the rhino though.
Animals: Elephants, giraffes, impalas, kudu, zebras, lions, more than 400 bird species, more than 1,000 flowering plants, and continuously changing scenery.
Ngorongoro B – Lake Manyara
Masai Land/Ngorongoro Crater/Lake Manyara Safari
(3 Days/2 Nights)
This safari explores three of the most beautiful parts of northern Tanzania. Visiting and staying with the Masai is an experience few get to have and one that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. The Ngorongoro Crater is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater was formed by volcanoes and inhabits a variety of Tanzania’s wildlife, especially rhinoceros that are not present in most other national parks. Lake Manyara National Park borders the Rift Valley escarpment and Lake Manyara itself is the home to a large flamingo population.

This safari departs from Moshi, so you need to travel to Moshi the day before.
Transportation to the bus station, the bus, flight tickets and accommodation are not included in the cost.
Day 1: Moshi / Masai Land / Karatu (B/L/D)
After breakfast at your accommodation, the car departs for the 4-hour trip to Masai Land near the town of Mto wa Mbu.
You will have a boxed lunch to eat on your way to the Masai Village.
A tour guide will lead you around the Masai village and provide a brief history of their nomadic lifestyle.
The car will leave Masai Village in time to get to your accommodation for dinner but you can stay there if you wish
If you wish to spend the night in Masai Village is it an extra $20 USD per person. Be prepared to sleep in a Masai Boma (mud hut) on a cow skin bed. Dinner will be in the Mto wa Mbu town. Do not wander far from the Masai village since Lake Manyara National Park is nearby and you don’t want to encounter wild animals.
The next morning you need to wake by 5 AM to leave for Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 2: Karatu or Masai Land / Ngorongoro / Karatu (B/L/D)
The car departs the Karatu House very early and will make the 40-minute trip to Ngorongoro followed by a full day game ride that will include a boxed lunch.
In the evening, the car will depart for Karatu and arrive in time for dinner and accommodation at the Karatu house.
Day 3: Karatu / Lake Manyara / Moshi (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the Karatu, the car departs for a short 20-minute ride to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game ride that will include a boxed lunch.
After lunch, the car will return to your Moshi accommodation

Serengeti A
Masai Land/Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater/Lake Manyara Safari (4 Days/3 Nights)

This safari has all the great aspects of the Masai Land / Ngorongoro Crater / Lake Manyara National Park Safari plus a day spent in the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Well known for having many wildebeests and lions, the Serengeti is also home to many cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards.

This safari departs from Moshi, so you need to travel to Moshi the day before.
Transportation to the bus station, the bus tickets and accommodation are not included in the cost.

Evening you will drive to the Rubanda Village Hostel for your accommodation.
*Change to Tented Camp inside the Serengeti National Park for $80 USD per person

Add a trip to the Olduvai Gorge archaeological site and museum (Oldest Human Remains discovered). $25 USD per person.

Day 3: Serengeti / Ngorongoro / Karatu (B/L/D)
After breakfast in Rubanda there will be a morning drive in the Serengeti, from which you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate.
The car will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance in the afternoon. Boxed lunch will be provided.
Here you will have afternoon game drive in the Ngorongoro crater.
Accommodation and dinner at the Karatu.
Day 4: Karatu / Lake Manyara / Moshi (B/L/D)
After breakfast, the car will leave by 8 a.m. for Lake Manyara National Park, a 30-min car ride away.
Half-day game drive inside Lake Manyara National Park. Box lunch included.
In the afternoon, the car will begin the 4-hour trip back to Moshi.
*Option to return and spend more time in Masai Village.
*Option to visit Snake Park, Masai Museum, and Masai Women’s Group. $20 USD per person. Near Arusha on the way back to Moshi.

In the early evening the car will drive to the Karatu volunteer house for dinner and accommodation.
**Optional Day 5: Karatu / Lake Manyara / Moshi (B/L/D)
Breakfast at Karatu Volunteer House, then drive to Lake Manyara for a half day game drive.

In the afternoon, the car will begin the 4-hour trip back to Moshi.
